Namport, the Namibian Ports Authority, was established by the Namport Act to manage and control the operation of ports and lighthouses in Namibia. From the deep-water Port of Walvis Bay to the southern gateway of Lüderitz, we provide the facilities and services of a modern port, connecting Southern Africa to global markets safely and efficiently.

The Board of Directors sets Namport's strategy and provides oversight, ensuring the Authority delivers on its mandate with accountability and transparency. The Executive Committee, led by the Chief Executive Officer, runs day-to-day operations across both ports.

Together they steward a workforce of more than 900 professionals, keeping the ports safe, efficient and ready for the trade of tomorrow.
