Deep-water Gateway

Container Terminal.

Namibia's deep-water container gateway, built for reliability and reach into the SADC region.

Deep-water Gateway

Container Terminal.

The New Container Terminal in Walvis Bay was built on 40 hectares of reclaimed land, lifting the port's capacity to 750,000 TEU. Ship-to-shore cranes and a modern rubber-tyred gantry fleet work vessels around the clock.

Direct corridor links carry containers between the terminal and Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Angola, the DRC and South Africa, offering the shortest sea route between the SADC heartland and world markets.
